About me
A big sister to five siblings under fifteen years old, I have always had an innate desire to provide care and nurturing to people. Whether crafting projects for loved ones, aiding the sick, or cooking for those in need, caring for others around me has been part of my life since childhood. When I am not nursing, I enjoy trying new foods, repurposing items I found in a bargain shop, and daily runs with my pup. I am in love with the idea of a new adventure and frequent the outdoors as much as my schedule allows.
I have always thought of myself as a people person and a natural nurturer. As I try to help you get a better picture of me, I have also found that nursing is one of the few career choices that truly defines a person. Nursing not only requires compassion, caring, and patience, but also competence and a strong sense of autonomy. Not to mention, being able to interact with people on a daily basis while also aiding in their health journey has always been a dream of mine! Aside from patient and family interaction, my favorite part about nursing has to be when I am given the opportunity to use the skills I am continually perfecting- especially in an emergent situation. Having the ability to make a positive difference in people's lives everyday gives me a unique sense of accomplishment that's nearly unexplainable. I also love the busy nature of nursing and often find myself exploring new knowledge terrain, so the nursing profession is a perfect fit for my career. Not afraid to get my hands dirty, this new graduate cannot wait to get started!
